THOSE MUSCLEBOUND COWBOYS FROM SNAKE PIT GULCH is a delightful musical comedy set during the Gold Rush of 1849. Pinkerton Agent, Miss Daisy LaFleur, on a last chance mission to save her prestigious job, embarks on a solo assignment to the perilous town of Snake Pit Gulch. Her goal? To uncover corruption and put an end to the rampant claim jumping and dad gum stealing!

But SNAKE PIT GULCH isn’t your typical Wild West town.   Here, men think nothing of falling for each other, and mail order brides or any women, for that matter are scarcer than a bar of soap at a mud wrestling contest. As Daisy Lafleur investigates, she faces danger, intrigue and a corrupt sheriff who wants to pluck her petals. But Daisy has eyes on an old fashioned cowboy and is ready to steal a heart or two as she always ...gets her man.

Will she emerge unscathed, with her corset strings still snatched tight? You’ll have to find out!

Muscle Bound Cowboys is a traditional book show, combining old fashioned musical comedy with a contemporary twist, promising 13 toe-tapping tunes, 7 hilarious roles for male identifying actors, and first class family entertainment.

Through nicely written songs, this truly old-fashioned musical will find a way to lasso up the bad guys and let true love bloom.  There is even a dream ballet to propel the story forward like Oklahoma! but this one is far gayer and much funnier.

The jokes are funny, and there is certainly some mild blue material.  Nothing is overly raunchy that would declassify this charming little show as a family entertainment.  The strip poker “game is so tense, my hair is braiding itself.”

Overall, Those Musclebound Cowboys From Snake Pit Gulch is more than a great title.  This agreeable musical is for anyone who wants an easy laugh and “an old fashioned cowboy.
